Common Selayang Issues
What Goes Wrong Here.
Roof and gutter leaks in older terraces
Many Selayang terraces are 20–30 years old. Slipped roof tiles, worn flashing and gutters clogged with leaves are the usual reasons ceilings stain during heavy afternoon storms.
Low water pressure and roof tank problems
Landed homes here run on roof tanks. Stuck float valves, sediment and ageing booster pumps are common causes of weak showers and slow-filling tanks.
Tripping power in older wiring
Original DB boxes and wiring in older houses struggle with modern aircond, water heaters and kitchen appliances. Upgrading the DB box and the worst circuits usually solves frequent tripping.
